Companions:

    We stand at the threshold of yet another year in Capitular Masonry, ready to embark on another journey toward more light and knowledge. We are taught, as Masons, that before any great or important undertaking, first to kneel and invoke the aid of the deity.
    Right Excellent Companion Grand Chaplain, please lead our devotions and implore the Great Architect of the Universe to bless our endeavors.
    Companions, everything we have done in our Masonic life has brought us to this instant in time. We have followed a path that has been left for us by the Masonic men of our past. Beginning with the brother who signed our petition for Lodge membership until today, we have been directed and guided by the “many” who have gone this way before us.                    
    This year, as in years past, we, as Royal Arch Masons, will have the opportunity to extend that “path” into our future for others to follow “The Tracks We Leave”. Tracks of Brotherhood, Fellowship, Love,   Integrity,   and   Honesty.  We   should   ask ourselves the question “What do I do?”  To Improve My Chapter, To Increase the Masonic Knowledge of my  Fellow  Companions,  To  Increase  and encourage   attendance  at

Chapter Meetings, To Spark Fun and Fellowship at my Chapter Meetings, To increase Membership in the York Rite. Companions, what “Legacy” are we leaving? What “Tracks are we leaving for others to follow?  A lot of questions to consider. However, I have confidence that by the dedication and commitment of you Companions that York Rite Masonry in Kentucky will continue to extend that Path.
    It is with great pride and honor that I introduce the Elected and Appointed Grand Officers and Committeemen that will be serving you and the Grand Chapter of Kentucky Royal Arch Masons this year. These men are dedicated and hard working and I look forward to working with each one of them.
    Finally, I would like to thank you, Companions, for electing me to serve you as your Grand High Priest for 2007-2008. I am humbled by your confidence and faith in me. May the Supreme High Priest of the Universe Bless and direct our endeavors. Remember “The Tracks We Leave Forms the Path To Our Future”.
