Greetings Sir Knights, as
we begin this year of service allow me to thank you for the honor of serving
as your Grand Commander.
Commanderies all over the country are experiencing the same problems of
reduced membership and shortages of money as we are. I believe the answers
to our problems are to be found in the basic tenants of Masonry such as
honor and a good since of value and duty.
As we embark upon
this year as Templars, I hope you will share your thoughts and ideas with
the Grand Officers as they visit with your Commanderies. Remember we are to
few to wait for someone else to do the work, so take an active part in your
Commandery, attend conclaves and ask another Sir Knight to go with you
on meeting night.
Again I thank you
and look forward to the visits with you this year.
May God bless and keep you always.
Fraternally,
James H. King, Jr.
R. E. Grand Commander
, Jr
R.E.G.C.
