Mandatory Requirements
|
| I.
The Illustrious Master, Deputy Master, Recorder, w1d 4 other companions
must attend the Area Arch Meeting. |
| 2.
The Illustrious Master, Deputy Master, Principal Conductor of the Work,
Captain of the Guard, and Steward must be proficient: |
| 3.
The Illustrious Master, and 3 other companions must visit 75% of the
councils in their Arch and visit 2 councils outside of their Arch. |
| 4.
The Illustrious Master must open his council 4 times in full form, with
all of his elected and appointed officers present and tilling their
offices. |
| 5.
The Illustrious Master must have all of the required committees appointed
and recorded in the minutes of his council. |
| 6.
The council must have at least 10% of it's membership proficient. |
| 7.
The council must have current and up to date Bylaws, constitution, minute
book, cash book, treasurers book, and a recorded audit date. They must
also have a complete set of quarterly reports. |
| 8. The council must obtain not less than 200 points on
it's inspection report. |

Elective Requirements
|
| 1.
The Illustrious Master and the Deputy Master must confer the Royal and
Select Master degrees on inspection night. ( perforn their parts. ) |
| 2.The
Illustrious Master, Deputy Master, Captain of the Guard, and Steward must
open their council 4 times without rituals (from memory), and one time
must be on inspection night. These openings must be recorded in the
minutes of the council. |

3.
The council must take part in or host a one day York-Rite festival.
|
| 4. The Illustrious Master, Deputy Master, and Principle
Conductor of the Work must attend the Grand Council meeting in September
of the year they are elected in the named offices. |
| 5.
The Council must preform two (2) service projects. One may be for a local
Blue Lodge, Chapter, Council, or Commandery. (This may not be for their
own council.) The second must be a community project. All proceeds be
donated to the projects. |
| 6. The Council must host two (2) special nights such
as, Ladies night, Family night, Rusty Brothers night, or any other
occasion. (They may not be for regular meeting or business meeting.) |

Instructions
|
| The Council must
complete all 8 of the mandatory requirements and 4 of the 6 elective
requirements, and must be recorded in the minutes of the Council. A copy
of the completed requirements must be sent to the Grand Illustrious Master,
Grand Deputy Illustrious Master, and the Chief Arch Deputy no later than
June 30th of the year for consideration for Grand Council meeting in
September. The copies must have requirements, dates, and brief description
of each event. |
